Microsoft partnered with Vitra Design Museum to see digital technology enhance the visitor experience at the Alvar Aalto exhibition.
By creating a simple app, containing additional information about the exhibits it allowed for the curator to provide that information to the visitors’ at a precise point in the exhibition using NFC.
The technology helped track the visitors’ interaction and as a result, a greater understanding was gained of the their behaviours, this information can now be utilised in the design of upcoming exhibitions.
