Exhibition celebrating Nokia's product design. Over a four months period, we dived into old archives, spoke to designers and engineers, looked at colours, material and UI screens. Mapping out the Nokia journey, we started to identify some of the key players in Nokia's vast product portfolio (counting 800+). A handful of devices became the backbone of the exhibition. For each device we developed a visual story, keeping the device the hero, whilst highlighting some of the key achievements for each product in a visual engaging manner.
The exhibition explored how Nokia steadily influenced the way people behave, interact and connect with one another. The show charted design innovation, starting with the first mass-market mobile handset and speculated on the future in the form of triptych film installation, featuring prominent Nokia designers in conversation, and saw the launch of the first Nokia Lumia.
