The emulator started out as a self-learning and interactive demo for Nokia Lumia that lets people become familiar with Windows Phone, by demonstrating what they can do with it. For the Windows 10 version it was expanded to work across the Windows 10 eco-system. Designed to work on Android, iOS and online, it became a key tool for consideration, training and post purchase experience. The emulator is rolled out globally.
